Why Use Us?

We have set up our business to be flexible and our services vary from client to client. Depending on the needs of the client we act as their payroll and do what they require.

No Hidden Charges

When comparing us to other potential service providers, please check them for hidden costs such as these below. We do not have any extra charges in the course of normal business, only what we have quoted you upfront:

  • Some bureaus charge a processing fee on top of fees per employee - we do not. This could be $50 per payrun
  • They may also charge for setting up and terminating employees on an ongoing basis
  • Faxes
  • Emails
  • Various reports such as super
  • Providing information or responses to agencies like Centrelink
  • Time talking to an operative of their organization

(Please let us know if you hear of any other hidden charges and we will add them to the list)

Leave Management

We keep your information on our system and manage it for you. We do the accruals and deduct the absences. A lot of bureaus just process whatever is given to them, they don't verify absences against leave balances first, which we do. Eg. if an employee doesn't have enough Annual or Sick Leave to cover an absence, our system will process the difference as Leave Without Pay or Sick Without Pay respectively. Of course we can override this if instructed.

If overrides are done your post-payrun reports will show anyone with negative balances.

Superannuation

Australian superannuation legislation is very complex and some competitors' systems cannot apply all the rules correctly, such as these below. Because we designed our system, we know ours does:
  • We take into account the junior age limits eg. under 18 years of age super is not payable unless more than 30 hours is worked per week in months where at least $450 gross is earned
  • Minimum super payable only if $450 gross is earned per month
  • We manage the Superannuation Maximum Contribution Base on a quarterly basis (as per legislation), not monthly capping as some companies incorrectly do. Eg. some systems cope if commissions and/or bonuses are paid on a monthly cycle but can't cope properly when paying quarterly. This can lead to underpayment of super.
